For more than 23 years, Touch A Heart Foundation’s Holiday Adopt-A-Family Program has connected caring sponsors with local families in need.
Browse our online profiles, choose a family, and shop for meaningful gifts—then deliver them directly or drop off at the agency if you prefer to remain anonymous.
Each family’s wish list is a mix of needs and wants—often with the “wants” reflecting true essentials. From hygiene items and kitchen basics to clothing, shoes, and a few holiday treats, your generosity helps bring comfort, dignity, and joy to their season.
Whether you adopt individually or with friends, family, or co-workers, you’ll make the holidays brighter for a family who truly needs it.

If you are a family in need (South Florida only!): please have your CASE MANAGER contact us for consideration. Due to the high volume of requests, we are unable to respond to requests directly from families who want to be adopted or are outside of South Florida (Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties only).
Adopt-A-Family South Florida Program FAQs
A: Families in need are selected by their case managers at Touch A Heart’s local non-profit partners.
A: Once you have selected your family, reach out to their case manger to let them know. They will provide you with contact information and their address. Most of our “adopters” choose to meet their adopted family, but you may also deliver the gifts to the family’s agency or case manager by December 11th.
A: There are many ways you can participate in the Adopt-A-Family program. If you choose to adopt a family but wish to remain anonymous, please let the case manager know and they will help coordinate getting the gifts to the family. Please coordinate deliver to the case manger by December 11th so they will have time to deliver to the family before Christmas.
If you do not adopt a family, there is also a need for monetary donations. Touch A Heart adopts many families at the holiday time from the funds raised throughout the year. We have “elves” who will do the shopping, wrapping and delivering on donors behalf. You can donate online here.

A: Absolutely. There are many families in need and any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
A: Touch A Heart will be adopting many families from the money raised throughout the year. We need volunteers to help shop, wrap and deliver gifts to those families.
